JUST ONE WISH

If God should ever put me in the dilemma
of choosing only one desire to live,
I would ask, that with your eyes you do not read my lines,
but that your soul lives, what I have written to you in each verse.
That you would feel what I feel when I write
and in your body, the feeling is torn apart,
that every fiber of your being become a heartbeat
and beating you become breathless
And may your soul be filled with sweetness
and willing to give your life for a kiss,
that a glance torments you with tenderness
and in the bars of some lips, you remain imprisoned.
May the thunderstorm and the desert live in you,
the rainstorm, the volcanoes, and yearning,
where your absence turns in a hell
and hearing you transport me to paradise itself.
May you be shaken, and every cell vibrates you,
that you do not know whether you are alive or well have died,
that you read them, and they reach you to the marrow
and so you understand how deeply I love you.
